Rock music was developing to another age from real time’s sharing experience in counter-culture movement answering the screwed up in the US society. Dylan, Jimi Hendrix were all performing at the social situation.
Originally, thus beginning days’ musicians, singers, composers, lyricists exactly creative motivation so purely.

But Rock music was stepping along the way of capitalistic strategical market pursuing route, in addition to it, world peace keeping object was added to their spiritual motivation, previously, when they start to create their music tunes, namely in beginning days of them, they were spontaneously creating their music, and got the chance to perform their creating tunes at the stage, namely their success was outcome of their effort, of course producer’s strategy worked so effectively or engineers’ machinery device inventing effort made their dealing musicians to gain ground, that factor was never be denied, but especially after so many Rock genius musicians had gained ground, gradually musician’s motivation was shifted to another trend, namely their success would become the previous object, and their success was just the result of their effort, in their pure motivation, but now musicians motivation is only previously for gaining ground in earning so big sales, or their mission was created by so many planning of 80th’s world Rock festival as the aim to aid the poverty and suffering people in Africa or so.
That for example We are the World projects or so made the foundation to urge musicians in beginning days of their learning and training, their object was becoming the previously kept motivation to rescue the world, thus now musician’s motivation is chained to mission rigorously strict obligatory feeling, thus now musicians’ sound is so intense and exciting but they have no mind room to enjoy creating their original music tunes, especially just my subjective impression I want you to allow me to show, now, Japanese Rockers are all so, with Tomoyasu Hotei, Miyavi or so, namely their sounds are from the beginning bound to only dutiful mission feeling in no just enjoying, namely they had from the beginning never to fail gaining ground in commercial market’s sales strategy, in addition to it, they are never Caucasoid, thus their feeling is anytime with assaulting as outlaws never be white musicians, nor jazz or soul blue note pioneering and creating black musicians as inferior complex would be combined, then their sound is consistently wrapped with risky desperate feeling as pathetic and heroic sounding, of course at West coast in the US at 70th, Eagles was surrounded by pessimistic feeling caused from the exhaustion to Viet Nam war, but even with it, their sound had either the optimistic feeling was attended together to their mission feeling, that atmosphere many Japanese Rockers do never have, thus their guitar playing and vocal performances are so often acrobatic only to gather the audience’s notice, in a bursting sound of heavy metallic guitar works with just only attractive role drums performance in bursting sprinting.
That kind of atmosphere, already could be confirmed also at X-Japan’s stage performance, Yutaka Ozaki was different, his vocal voice had a relaxed mood either.

Of course, all these impressions are just my subjective it, to me, Mr. Children’s tunes, songs and performances are never giving that kind of impression to me.
At next chance, I will mention the US and UK musicians my favorite giants.
