She was mermaid staying at a gulf of complexed geographical feature with each distinct terrain islands dense area where she was born and raised.

She was just a little bit over adolescence but before becoming adult woman, she would have some inevitable experience moreover for now her, she seemed to anybody but herself in her staying gulf, and either she felt so. But she already reached just the age suitable to love merman bodily and mentally.

At the matter of fact, she had an intent whom she made up her mind to marry on her mind by herself, hid name was Samos, her future prospect was occupied only with him, since few years ago, when she met him by chance, her mind at a stretch was managed by his presence in no notice, and that feeling was never waving even once.
He obviously showed her his interest to her, he sometimes tried to touch her skin so consciously, and its act was never so officially needed it, it means the sign to demand touched one’s love.

But now, he was absent in front of her nor close to her. To say so, Aida’s surviving area’s merman had a custom and even now survived continuous habit only they were forcibly initiated, it was hunting the killer whale, coz they used never to attack so healthily sturdy merman nor mermaid, but if one of them were injured by for example Sea Anemone with their nematocyst poison, they suddenly assault only injured individual body together plurally and often stacked individual merman or mermaid was killed by them and ate by them, sooner or later.
Hence that conventional custom to merman is so tough, thus Aida was so anxious about her sweetheart Samos’s later return to her staying merman and mermaid habitually staying zone. That was their stronghold to their hunting to survive, and den to hide themselves from all enemy creatures.

Thus, that area’s traditional and conventional initiation only mermen were all forcibly imposed was hunting killer whale by each oneself, never cooperating other same generation ones in this area, it was so tough rite of passage before becoming perfect adult merman, for all younger generation mermen in the gulf.

Thereby, reaching that season, they stop their only romantic intercourse with mermaid, and they all make an effort to be a brave individual hunter in the ocean.

Only it was the rite of passage to enter into real adult merman. But just coz of so ripe age mermaids for loving different sex one bodily and mentally, that term’s merman’s presence was the symbol to respect and follow as future husband for them, for Aida, it was never so unexceptional.
Also, they must practice ocean voyage for the strongest killer whale hunting. Necessarily Samos was either with a promise to hunt one stronger killer whale by himself to elder mermen as if in Church, Presbyterian system works, its success was sworn by younger healthy mermen in the area as gulf they survived.

Of course, they all must return to their homeland’s gulf with no wound, it was absolute condition to pass the right to participate in the adult mermen’s society.

But date usually successful hunter as younger adult merman could return was passing so earlier, but he did never return, then usually mermaid must just wait for their future husband’s return, but she was irritated with return’s lingering, Aida’s perseverance and patient was beyond the maximum, and she secretly made up mind to look for Samos’s now location, and she started to prepare for her voyage, in no consulting to anybody with her parents or Samos’s them.
