In fact, to us, memory thing is very nasty to handle for unity maintenace, nevertheless, usually, we all are dependent on each memorized item and content with consistency. 

We all are to some credible extent reliant on our own memory abiding facts and truths, nevertheless, once we have some doubt around consistency of our own memory, we'd get us into some infinite doubtfulness around our own consistent identity. 

When we can perceive each presently given time running attached item or phenomenon, we for the time being believe in own identity as we all are premised and given as our own identity. But if we have accidentally own skepticism around all those consistency, or constancy, we can have own skepticism around otherwise we all are controlled by some unknown power which could manage our own perception. 

But in fact, to us, memory content by itself won't be so drastically changed nor switched into completely another thing nor item, but some interpreted content or kind of grasped totally integral sense or meaning could be easily converted. 

Memory has own fixed images and apperance, and once done so, we can never change that own image or apperance, but regarded impression to those totally are easily converted as well. 

After all, memory and presently perceived thing in mutual relevance and our own immanent conversation by themselves will be left as the very nasty and difficult item for interpreting and elucidating. 

Certainly otherwise, even trustworthy memory by itself can be easily transformed according to each presently given matter, phenemenon and incidentally happening thing, necessarily very subtly. And as philosopher Hitoshi Nagai claims, Wittgenstein claiming that own memory items skeptically doubted some transformed possibility by itself can never be easily denied nor neglected as only junk illusion nor given fake fantasy. 

In other words, we all with own consciousness are running everything in time or time running, we all are paralleled with time as our own perceptive consciousness. 
At some not that disordered interpretation, to ud, presently given thing and that awareness is anytime impacted with memorized past facts awareness and those past items by themselves in signifying, identifying and measuring can be easily replaced with another interpreted items so easily.
